Treatment for irritant contact dermatitis:
If you notice allergic reactions on your skin and suspect a cosmetic allergy, immediately stop using all the cosmetic products. Do not consult a beautician for cosmetic allergies. Consult a doctor, and he may suggest you to use bland facial cleanser and low potency corticosteroid cream or ointment. These will help you recover from the symptoms. Once you get relieved from the symptoms, the doctor might ask you to go for an allergy test.
An allergy test helps you find out the cause of your allergy, and according to the findings you can avoid using the cosmetics that contain the ingredients that cause the allergy.
