House Dust Allergy

You might have often noticed that neglected parts of your home get covered by dust. But be careful about it. It might not be just dust. It may be a mixture of potentially allergenic materials.

The dust may often contain

• Dust mites
• Mold Spores
• Pollens
• Animal Feces
• Food particles
• Fibers
• Flakes animal and human skin

Symptoms

• Rash or Hives
• Itchy watery eyes
• Congestion
• Anaphylaxis

Prevention

• Keep your home clean. Wipe the dusty areas of your home using a damp cloth. Wear gloves and dust mask to prevent yourself from it.
• Reduce the kind of furniture and accessories that collect more dust than others. Such as dried flowers, stuffed animals etc.
• Wash your drapes and curtains regularly.
• Try to get leather sofas instead of fabric ones. You can just wipe them clean and they wont accumulate dust.
