What Food Allergies Cause Acid Reflux?
Food allergies are commonly found in America. It has been estimated that nearly 4% of the adult American is afflicted with food allergies. The number of children suffering from the same is even more.
So, both the adults and children suffer from the gastroesophageal reflux which is caused generally due to food allergies.
The gastroesophageal reflux symptoms in infants are found to be resulted from protein present in the food which makes it intolerable.

Actually food allergy is caused when the immune system of the body come up with an abnormal attack when some irritating food item enters the digestive system. - Some life threatening reactions like swelling can also appear.
These symptoms are caused because the body treats the allergens present in the milk as the foreign element and thus the immune system releases histamine in large quantity to tackle the same. As the result these symptoms appear giving a cause for allergy.
