Nambudripad Allergy Elimination Technique – Diagnostic Procedure

Nambudripad AllergyThough the basic principle of Nambudripad Allergy Elimination Technique (NAET) sounds very scientific and promising, it is full of controversies. The technique is not accepted by scientific communities as it has failed to demonstrate its efficacy for any medical condition beyond placebo effects. This article is intended only to give information to the reader about the

diagnostic process

of NAET method or technique.

What is Done:

The main diagnostic method is muscle testing. In this technique, certain substances are placed on the patient’s hand. The test begins here. The practitioner examines if the arm resists being pulled by him/her. If the arm is weak and could not resist, then the substance is said to be an allergen, i.e., one which cause allergy.

For young children and for the adults who are weak, a special testing called

“Surrogate Testing”

is done. This is a very peculiar test in which the surrogate touches the skin of the person while the practitioner tests the muscle of the surrogate. Electro-diagnostic device is also used by some practitioners of NAET. They measure skin resistance to a small current that is emitted by the device.

The above diagnostic technique is carried out in several sessions and treatment is decided according to the overall severity of the allergic condition. The number of allergens are found out. It is followed by assessment of the patient’s response to the treatment. Immune system of an individual differs from that of another individual. The treatment approach varies for the same reason. The person who is less allergic has less number of sessions than the patient who has had severe allergies and is suffering for many years.

We hope that the diagnostic tests in NAET procedure is clear in the above write-up. Please check our other articles to know about the principle, treatment procedure and after affects of NAET.
