In simple terms, when there is some disorder in the immune system of the body, it leads to hypersensitivity which affects various body organs. Depending upon the type of allergic symptoms, medicines are used. There are different kinds of antihistamines, decongestants and nasal sprays available to treat the problem. There are several medications to treat allergic symptoms which are given as follows:
It is commonly called Fexofenadine. It is an antihistamine medicine. Allegra is used to cure sneezing, watery eyes, itching and runny nose.
It is a combination of decongestant and antihistamines. Antihistamines are for allergic symptoms such as itchy throat, eyes and runny nose, while decongestants give relief from stuffy nose and chest congestion.
It is commonly called Pseudophedrine. It is used to treat conditions such as sinusitis, coryza and allergic rhinitis. It can also be used in addition with some antibiotics, analgesics and antihistamines for cure of above allergic symptoms.
