Butterbur can provide temporary relief from allergy, but it should be taken under doctor’s supervision. The typical dosage of this herb ranges from 50 to 75 mg, taken twice everyday. This herb should not be taken by young children, pregnant or nursing women and people with liver or kidney disease.
