Food allergy can occur just after a few minutes of consuming allergic foods or it can also occur after long hours after consuming the allergic foods. A person can immediately collapse and the face can turn blue. This is one kind of an allergy and there are several others.

Delayed allergy is the onset of allergy when the symptoms do not show up even after few hours of consuming allergic foods.
