Adverse reaction to chemicals in foods – In this case, people may have adverse reactions to additives and preservatives in foods and also to usually present ingredients such as salicylates.

Age – Age factor also plays a vital role in developing intolerances, for instance, with milk.

Genetics – This plays an important role in this intolerance.

Chemical intolerance – This occurs among individuals with or without family history of allergy.

Hormonal Changes – This is very common in women.

Adverse reactions to chemicals in foods and enzyme deficiency are the most common causes of intolerance among Asians compared to Europeans.
