  • Keep the scalp moisturized. Immediately after shampooing the hair, you must massage the scalp with a small amount of moisturizer. Let it stay for 10 – 15 minutes and then rinse it off.
  • You can also use an over the counter shampoo which is particularly formulated to treat bumps. These shampoos generally contain salicylic acid, zinc pyrithione, selenium sulfide, ciclopirox, tar and ketoconazole. Use this according to the instructions on leaflet.
  • You can also follow a healthy diet that is rich in minerals, proteins and vitamins. This boosts the immune system. A strong immune system is must to cure bumps.
