  • Rapid heart beat, loss of consciousness and palpitations which may turn to anaphylactic shock, a life threatening condition

Treatment of Clam Allergy symptoms

Clam allergy symptoms can be treated by following some measures and through medications.

  • Avoid consumption of clams and other molluscs. Be aware of the food and the ingredients present in it before consuming. It is good to avoid even other seafoods.
  • Antihistamine medications help in giving relief to mild symptoms.
  • Anaphylactic shock needs an immediate medical care and it can be treated with epinephrine injections.
