Allergy is a mistaken reaction of body’s immune system to certain substances, that are usually harmless otherwise. Olive oil :
Warm one tablespoon of oil and apply the warm oil to the allergic reaction rash. This penetrates into the skin and cures the rash effectively. This is the best treatment possible at home.
Chamomile Flowers :
Boil one cup of water. Obtain 3 – 4 tablespoons of dried or fresh flowers and add to the boiled water. Allow the decoction to cool and wash the affected skin with this water.
Take handful of herbs like dandelion, chaparral and dock root and blend them along with water to make a paste. Apply it to the skin that is affected with allergic rash. Now wrap the area with a bandage and this is very effective as the affected area acquires all the benefits of the mixture.
Oatmeal and Cornstarch bath :
Take one cup each of each oatmeal and cornstarch in a water tub and soak the affected skin in it for about 10 – 15 minutes. Take a shower afterwards. Repeat this 3 – 4 times a week to get relief from the allergic rash symptoms.
Aloe Vera :
This is a wonderful herb which has antibiotic, anti-inflammatory, soothing and antiviral properties. All these properties make this an ideal substance to treat the rash. Extract the pulp from aloe vera leaf and apply it to the rash twice or thrice a day. This helps in reducing the symptoms and speeds up the recovery process.
Baking Soda :
Apply this to the rash affected areas. After applying, gently press the area. This helps in reducing the inflammation and speeds up the healing process.
